1. Drink a ton of bottled, filtered or distilled water. Water makes up almost 70% of the body. Dehydration is the cause of many health problems. 2. Cut back on soda, alcohol, and processed juice. All of these in excess can cause health problems. 3. Quit smoking. Smoking kills you and your body. Heart disease and cancer are just a couple of the many diseases that are caused by smoking. You will experience some kind of negative symptoms or death if you smoke. 4. Decrease or stop all dairy intake. Cow's milk is not what the "Got milk" advertisements want us to believe. 5. Take vitamins. They are necessary. Foods today do not contain the amounts of vitamins and minerals that the used to 100 years ago. We all need certain vitamins like multiples, vit. C, calcium and more. 6. Some natural immune system supplements really help like Echinacea, grape seed extract, garlic, ginger, and more. 7. Decrease meat intake, especially red meat and pork. High meat diets contribute to health problems like heart disease, gout, and more. Diets high in meat result in an acidic body. 8. Eat your greens. Kale, broccoli, green beans, green lettuce, and other greens are high in calcium, protein, and minerals. 9. Eat fish and other foods (like flax seed) that are high in omega-three fatty acids. These have essential oils. 10. Rotate your diet. Eating the same foods everyday can lead to food allergies. Eat like foods (food combining). 11. Cut back on all foods in a bag, bottle, and box. Processed and refined foods are bad if eaten too much. Pastas, Fruit Loops, bagels, pizza, etc. can destroy our digestive sysem. Eat whole foods, like fresh veggies and fruits and unprocessed meats and grains. 12.Eat foods that have the least amount of toxins, pesticides, steroids, antibiotics, chemicals, and preservatives. Organic is best. 13.Eat like this 80% of the time and have fun during the other 20%. |
